Birmingham Pride, 24th - 25th

Birmingham Pride held its first event back in 1997. Pride has become one of the most important LGBTQ+ festivals in the UK attracting in excess of 40,000 people over the course of the weekend to the festival site in the heart of the LGBTQ+ village and over 75,000 participating in or watching our annual pride parade through the streets of Birmingham.

Coopers Hill Cheese Rolling, 26th

A world-famous phenomenon, Gloucestershire's annual Cheese Rolling event attracts thousands of spectators and brave competitors from all over the world to Cooper's Hill in Brockworth, who are determined to keep this wacky tradition alive.

Tetbury Woolsack Races 26th

Watch individuals, teams, and juniors demonstrate their strength and fitness, by racing up and down the 1 in 4 gradient of Gumstool Hill in Tetbury, carrying a sack of wool weighing up to 60lbs.

Scuttlebrook Wake is an annual celebration held in Chipping Campden on the first Saturday after Whitsun. Whilst the format of the Wake has changed over the centuries it is essentially a celebration of summer and a chance for the community of Campden and its visitors to come together and have a good time!

Dean & Chadlington Summer Music Festival 26th June - 6th July

Our charitable objectives are: To promote and advance the education of the public generally in the study and practice of the arts of music, poetry, acting, literature and similar arts in all their branches and the cultivation of public appreciation of those arts in particular by means of presenting an annual music festival.

Longborough Festival Opera, 27th June - 2nd Aug

Longborough Festival Opera has grown into an established opera company, situated in the heart of the Cotswolds, with an annual season taking place in a purpose-built opera house seating 500.

Charlbury Beer Festival, 28th

In 1997, 13 Charlburians put on a beer festival to raise money for the local primary school. Back then they sold 1,000 pints in a venue limited to 180 visitors. In 2024, two an a half decades later, we celebrated our 26th festival. We welcomed over 2,000 people through our gates. We served over 6,000 pints of ale, craft beer, and cider (that's one every 5 seconds!).

The Cotswolds Show and Food Festival, 28th - 29th

Back in 1985, The Earl Bathurst, who's ancestral seat is in Cirencester Park, had a dream of staging an event primarily for people in the countryside, or with an interest in farming, that was family-friendly, educational, and packed with entertainment. In 1989, tat dream was realised, and after 8,000 people passed through the gates of that first show, the concept of 'Where Town Meets Country' was born.h

The Beer Festival is run by a team of highly motivated and talented volunteers. All the money, less costs, raised in this event goes to charity. Our main charity is Blood Cancer UK, Since the first festival in 1994 we have raised over £397,700 for charity!
