At Wolford Wood, nature is not just a backdrop - it's the heart of your stay.
Tucked into 200 acres of ancient woodland and wildflower meadows, our site offers a tranquil retreat where you can unwind, explore and immerse yourself in the natural world. Whether you're seeking a solo escape, a family adventure or a group gathering, our diverse accommodations cater to all. Our unique, repurposed cabins are heated and available year-round, while wild meadow camping lets you find your own perfect pitch among the grasses and trees. Each stay invites you to gather around fire pits, cook outdoors and wake to birdsong in a landscape rich with native wildlife.
Camping and cabin guests are welcome to explore the woodland - included as part of your stay. For those looking to deepen their connection with nature, we also offer Forest Bathing and Mindful Nature Walks, which can be booked in advance and are subject to availability. Just a stone's throw from Moreton-in-Marsh and open throughout the year, this is a place to rest, explore and rediscover the natural rhythms of life.
While we encourage a back-to-basics experience, we also believe in leaving the land as we found it. That's why we operate a 'leave no trace' ethos - and we ask all guests to take their rubbish home with them. To help reduce waste, here are some zero-waste camping tips: Bring food in reusable containers like Tupperware or beeswax wraps. Use paper bags for snacks - they make great kindling for the fire. Avoid single use plastics by packing refillable water bottles and jars. Bring reusable plates, cutlery and cups. Plan meals ahead to minimise packaging and leftovers
Together, we can keep Wolford Wood wild and beautiful for everyone!

The campsite has no electric hookups - we do have a couple of plugs at the outdoor campers kitchen for pumping up air beds and charging small devices. Please be considerate to other campers.
Our site is designed exclusively for tent camping and glamping cabins, so unfortunately we’re unable to accommodate caravans, campervans, or motorhomes.
To protect the wildlife, we do not allow vehicles on the grass. We have a designated car park a short walk away from the camping field with wheelbarrows to help transport your belongings.
Unfortunately, we no longer allow dogs. We love dogs, however being situated close to farmland, we cannot accept any on site.
No, as part of our “leave no trace” ethos, all campers are asked to leave with their rubbish and dispose of it at their own home. We advise you to plan in advance and bring food in Tupperware or paper bags that can then be used as kindling for a fire.
Yes, but all fires and BBQ’s must be off the ground. Please see rules on fires under our terms section.

We want to be transparent in letting you know that our campsite currently does not have dedicated accessibility features, and the terrain may not be suitable for those with additional needs. While we hope to make improvements in the future, the site as it stands may present challenges.
