Wolford Wood is an extraordinary place - 200 acres of idyllic, peaceful woodland and wildflower pastures offer camping and glamping, scientific woodland, events and activities.

It is the perfect place to refresh, rejuvenate and connect with nature!

Offering camping in wild meadows and unique glamping huts, we have a variety of ways for you to choose how to relax, whether it’s a retreat on your own, fun filled escape to the countryside with friends or a wholesome family get-together, our site boasts facilities that can cater for all.

We do not have electric hook ups

We do not allow Caravans, campervans or motorhomes.
We do not allow parking next to pitches, we have a car park close by.
We do not allow dogs.
We do not have waste management – all visitors leave with their waste.
We do not tolerate antisocial behaviour – termination of booking, vacation of site.
Off ground fires and BBQs are permitted – rules on fires can be found here.

Camping

Our camping area is nonelectric and has plenty of wild space for you to choose where to pitch up. Amenities include access to the toilet and shower block stocking toilet roll and hand soap. 

Adult - £20 per night
Child (4-16) - £7.50 per night
Children under 4 stay for free

Cabins

Glamping offers three unique wooden cabins, each including bed linen, towels, heating and electric sockets. The outdoor kitchens include stoves for cooking, fridge freezers, cooking equipment and cutlery. Additionally, outside seating is available

As both Avalon cabins share the decking and outside seating area, you have priority booking the other cabin if you wish. These cabins also share an outside covered kitchen. 

Woodmans Cabin

Private outside lean-to kitchen area. 

*we can provide a travel cot to any of the cabins upon request. 

Facilities

The site has hand basins, a shower and toilet block and an outdoor kitchen.

Local attractions

On site
Spend the day exploring and immersing in nature via our woodland and wildflower paddocks. The scientific woodland is bursting with bio-diversity where so many species of wildlife can be found.
Take part in many of our activities such as forest bathing, bee keeping – view our events page to find out more! 
Off site
Adventure out into the Cotswold countryside and visit nearby picturesque towns and village – Moreton-in-Marsh, Stow-On-The-Wold and Bourton-On-The-Water to name a few!
Some of our favourite attractions include Diddly Squat Farm Shop, Batsford Arboretum and Cotswold Farm Park.

Terms and conditions

Checking In and Out

Check in – 12:00pm-8:00pm. Late check in, by arrangement.
Early check in subject to availability and prior arrangement when booking.
Please contact us if you will be arriving at a later time that stated above.
Check out –11:00am
Late check out is subject to availability and prior arrangement when booking.
You are usually welcome to stay here until 5:00pm on the day of departure.

Cancellation
Cancellations less than two weeks before arrival date are non-refundable.
Please contact us immediately by email if you have to cancel. Terms may vary on our booking sites.
General Safety and Considerations
5mph Speed limit and strictly no driving on fields or grass.
Please ensure to close all gates behind you.
Wolford wood is a working woodland, please adhere to no entry signs for your own safety.
Under 18’s must be always accompanied by parents or guardians. Please keep children away from machinery and wood stacks.
Antisocial behaviour is not tolerated.
Please don’t feed or pet any livestock.
All waste must be taken with you off site at the end of the stay.
Weather conditions may incur fire bans, this must be adhered to.
Wolford wood accept no liability for accident, loss of property or personal injury which may be sustained by your party or guests or our property during your stay at Wolford wood.
Fires
Fires and BBQ’s must be off the ground. A large bottle of water must be near the fire at all times.
Do not put plastic, glass or metal in the fire.
Children must always be under supervision around open fires.
Extinguish or reduce the fire to embers before leaving the site or going to bed.
Tents should be 6+ meters from the fire, further if the weather is windy.
