Our woodland is rural and private — we recommend driving via a suitable road and using GPS / map apps. Ample parking is included.
FAQ's
Can we host a wedding reception here?
We’re delighted to host weddings; however, as we don’t currently hold a marriage license, ceremonies must be conducted by a celebrant. Our main party spaces suit small weddings, for larger guest lists, please contact us to discuss layout and add-ons.
How many guests can you accommodate?
Our standard setup of two spaces comfortably supports up to 15 people each. For more, we can arrange extra options — please enquire.
Can we stay overnight?
Yes — we offer camping and glamping on site (bookable together with your event).
Do you provide catering?
We do not run a full catering service currently, but you may bring your own caterer or self-cater (BBQ, picnic style).
What about toilets and accessibility?
We have on-site facilities/restrooms. Access is via woodland paths (some terrain), so please contact us about mobility needs.
Wolford Wood is an Ancient and Historic English deciduous working wood, near The Four Counties Stone, just inside Warwickshire. We are responsible managers and maintain this SSSi woodland with a Natural England and Forestry Commission approved management plan for the enhancement of its 2500+ recorded species.
The ancient process of coppicing a wood involves thinning trees to encourage natural regeneration of new seedling trees and the continuation of each coppice stand. Cord wood is stacked and seasoned in the wood and carried to our yard with our forestry crane and trailer.
Genuine Wolford Wood logs are only supplied direct from the Ash coppices at Wolford Wood. Our logs are processed and air dried and have "Ready to Burn" certification.
Your small local log supplier may well source their cord wood from Wolford Wood and this extends our range of supply, without increasing your, their or our carbon footprint.
Please note that our logs can contain up to 5% seasoned Birch or Oak species as part of normal woodland thinning and processing activities.
